Tax-Free Childcare: available from April 2017

If your employer offers childcare vouchers or arranges your childcare, you can get up to £933 a year in tax and National Insurance savings. If you are intending to use Childcare Vouchers, please advise us in advance which voucher company you are using and for what amount. We are registered with most of the childcare voucher companies and will be happy to assist if you have any questions.
15 and 30 Hours Early Education Funding for 3 & 4 year olds
The early years education entitlement till September 2017 is for up to fifteen hours per week, for 38 weeks per year. From September 2017 eligible parents can claim up to 30 hours a week. For more information please see www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. To be eligible you don’t need to be a resident of the borough of Richmond upon Thames, but your child must go to an eligible setting within the borough, such as Mandarin Ducklings Nursery.
15 Hours Early Education Funding for 2 year olds
This is not an universal offer for all 2 year olds. It is only available to eligible parents based on specific criteria. Again the offer is for up to 38 weeks a year and maximum 15 hours a week. Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)
The early years pupil premium (EYPP) is a funding for early years settings to improve the education they provide for disadvantaged 3- and 4-year-olds.
